money transfer​,  MONEY TALKS

The photographic series Money Transfer (2011-2016) questioned global money issues, aiming to reveal what's behind the scene: hidden jobs, activities, industries building every moment of our life. We are all connected: the consequences of even the smallest economic decision reach far and deep.
It was a time of recession and austerity.
Money Transfer is a work of awareness and became public art in Milan, 2015.
There was another series, Money Talks, where captions are quotations from  books I enjoyed to reread. I add some examples of lists and texts and meanings.

October 2015, Giornata del contemporaneo: two subjects from the series Money Transfer become public art: billboards in Milan. The idea of using posters, public art medium par excellence, was born from my wish to go beyond the art world and try to get nearer both to the people making financial choices and to those directly struck by economic policies that privilege financial balance over equality.

Cableway: Cables. Pylons. Cabins. Motos. Power. Stations. Tickets. Raw materials: Glass. Sand. Silica. Iron. Aluminium. Water. Fire. Oil. Plastic. Other necessities: Public administrators. Engineers. Project. Budget. financing. Tourists. Mountains. Trees. Hotels.

Points of view: Locks. "It's for safety". "It's against immigrants".
