50th premio suzzaraFire, Air, Water, Earth is a photo series with texts conceived for Sole Suzzara Srl: the alchemic transformation of matter goes beyond the products, the jobs and the people.
After two surveys with all the workers, the chosen photos were reproduced in a smaller format. On November 30, 2018, with a performance from 8:30 to 23:00 circa, I signed the 200 copies and gave them to everyone, adding their name. My project aimed to give beauty and symbolic value to the industrial process, involving each person. The performance made explicit the affinities between goods production and art production: the objective of Premio Suzzara from the start, in 1948, when farmers, workers and artists exchanged living poultry, bricks and sausages against paintings.
